Nursery themes for boys

Whether you’re a first-time parent or expecting another family addition, choosing a nursery theme can be an overwhelming task. First, you have to decide if what you have chosen fits your home’s look. Also, you have to consider if the theme suits your little one’s personality.

Parenting is hard enough; choosing a room theme should not be a headache. That’s why I decided to round up these beautiful nurseries to help you get a headstart in your design process.

1: Adventure-Themed Nursery Room

This adventure-themed nursery room is proof that you don’t have to go all out to achieve a theme. The wall arts and the baby mobile are subtle additions, but these decors produced a gorgeous result.

Also, the muted color palette is easy on the eyes, making the bedroom relaxing. I love everything about this room!

2: Airplane-Themed Nursery Room

If you are looking for a theme that will grow with your little one, check out this airplane-themed bedroom. The vintage airplane prints give this nursery a refined look.

So when the time comes, and you need to change the crib into a kid’s bed, you don’t need to spend a lot to transform it into a big boy’s room. With this theme, you’ll get your money’s worth!

3: Beach-Themed Nursery Room

From West Coast to East Coast, this nursery sure makes waves. The feel of this room makes late-night diaper changes less exhausting. Looking at the decorations in this bedroom brings your mind to a happy place.

I love how each decor is carefully thought of – from the material used and the colors!

This nursery proves that dark colors can also belong to a boho-themed room. It doesn’t always have to be light and breezy! Adding natural textures like the rattan drawers, bassinet, chair, and dried leaves is the key to achieving that boho look.

Also, the white rug serves as another layer of texture and ties the whole room’s look. This dark green nursery is something else!

5: Construction-Themed Nursery Room

In decorating a construction-themed nursery room, you don’t have to fill it up with different construction materials.

One way to integrate decor that is big in style is by adding a backlit crane that looks like it’s lifting the bookshelves. Such an impressive way to incorporate to a theme!

6: Dinosaur-Themed Nursery Room

Add some prehistoric style to your little one’s room with a dinosaur-themed nursery. These beasts may be extinct, but they are so famous when it comes to kids (and parents too!).

Props to the designer who curated the decor; everything blends perfectly. It looks like each piece is made for this bedroom!

7: Disney-Themed Nursery Room

This room is proof that if you want a Disney-themed nursery, it does not have to be about Mickey and Minnie Mouse. The color palette used in Toy Story is one of the best for babies and kids’ rooms because of its playfulness.

Also, check out the small details all over the room. No character is left behind from the film!

8: Ocean-Themed Nursery Room

There are different ways to decorate an ocean-themed nursery. One way would be adding a mural to a room. The whole scene makes you feel like you’re swimming under the sea!

Also, if you are not a fan of hanging wall arts, placing a mural like this one is the easiest way to decorate. Add on an animal plushie, and you’re good to go!

9: Safari-Themed Nursery Room

Safari-themed nurseries are a popular choice for parents who want to give their children a taste of the wild.

To achieve a safari-themed bedroom, you don’t have to paint the room with an earthy tone. This blue safari-themed nursery is proof!

10: Space-Themed Nursery Room

Create a nursery that is out of this world with a space-themed room! I love how this mom designed her baby’s nursery

A wall dedicated to a constellation of stars and heavenly bodies wall hangings is the right amount of details that makes this nursery stand out. It may be simple, yet, it looks lovely!

11: Sports-Themed Nursery Room

Whether it’s football, basketball, baseball, or hockey-themed nursery, there are many different ways to go about a sports-themed nursery.

You don’t have to stick with the typical sports team colors: red, blue, green, and yellow. Instead, this mama opted for a monochromatic color scheme, which gives the nursery a sophisticated look.

All I can say is that the decors perfectly match the room’s aura. This nursery room hits the goal!
