Simple Nursery Room Design | Shop the Look – Fun Escape

Written by Lee Orlian

A simple yet stylish way to add visual interest to your little one’s nursery is by adding a board and a batten accent wall. This trend has been around for a long time, and I’m sure this is not going away!

When I designed this nursery, I envisioned a large area to work with, so I incorporated a decent-sized play area with a kitchen set and bookshelves.

Also, a dark-colored nursery could work since the space is not an issue.

The dark blue color can grow with your child and provides a bold and dramatic look.

To balance out the area, I chose furniture with a white finish and added rattan elements and a faux olive tree to add softness to the room.
